Bihar had a rich past. It has the worlds oldest Nalanda university. Even today most of the USPC aspirants are from bihar. It is one of the most Culture centered and diverse state and a Political capital of India. It is the Birthplace of Gautam buddha and Lord Mahavir. On the other hand nowadays, it is ranked as one of the poorest and less literate state in India maybe because of the wrong policies of the politicians throughout.
Bihari's are present all over India, and most probably you will have a Bihari friend . There are two types of Bihari : A"speudo-Bihari" they are from bihar but will never associate themselves with one and a "True Bihari" who feels proud of being from Bihar. So here are the 10 things to know if you have later as a friend.

1. Ek Bihari sau pe bhari.
This is actually a line in defence of "ek bihari sau bimari".. you will always hear him replying with this line whenever you try to put him down !! and he actually feels proud after this !





















2. The Lungi dance
Lungi is a part of bihari's life. He may wear whatever the whole day but at the end of the day you will see him in lungi. And not to be confused with the lungis worn in south, A Bihari Lungi is Unique !!
you will surely hear your friend talking about lungi atleast once.



















3. The Paan Culture
Bihari's are evident paan eaters.It is said that a Bihari and Paan can never be seperated ! so its not unusual to hear your friend asking you to have paan atleast once !













4. Bihari or Bhaiya ??
Most of the people assume Biharis as bhaiya ( UPite) . he will always correct you on this !



















5. Thanks to them , you can unterstand Bhojpuri movies , songs and memes better.
whenever a bhojpuri songs or dialogues appear in bollywood movies you turn towards him , and he/she is all the way ready to be your google for that!










6. The murder of English
Bihari's have their own version of english dialect which is different from all over India. you can actually make out from his slang that he is from Bihar. And mind it , Its Understandable and fun to talk to him in english.



















7. Politics
Bihar is the most Politics centered state. So be prepared to be up to date with politics!














8. Jugaadu
They are the most effitient jugaadus . So dont worry if you are stuck with a problem, he is always there to take you out of it.















9. Out of the world Swear words !!
Most probably you will hear totally new swear words after you meet him. You can relate this to Gangs of wasseypur movie.















10. You can make all kind of bihari jokes on your friend, but he/she will rarely overreact! 
Because they are polite and humble. Also they don't give a damn because they stick to their roots and are proud of what they are .
